First Wok has always been a staple for Chinese food in Grand Rapids. Our favorite is bringing the whole family and sitting at the big round table with a lazy Susan! This style of Chinese is meant to be shared as one large family and they do it the best.
The staff is very friendly and they enjoy taking care of you. The menu is large enough for everyone to pick one dish to add to the groups dinner! We always start with the Crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and egg drop soup!
The sesame chicken is always my favorite but I enjoy everything we order. The kids love the sweet and sour chicken and the adults lean towards the spicier options like Kung Pao beef or chicken.
Overall, this is a great option for takeout or a family dinner. We will continue to enjoy First Wok and I definitely recommend it. -

The service is top notch. Give this place a try. The food is very fresh and hot. We were traveling through and needed something to eat. It was our first time here and our server was very courteous and helpful. We just got a dinner for two and everything was very good
We will come back the next time we are in town -

Came here for a work dinner party for 15 people and the staff did a splendid job of taking care of us efficiently. We ordered 4 appetizers and 4 entrees (2-3 orders of each) and it was plenty of food. My favorite appetizers were the hot and sour soup and the crab cheese rangoons. The rangoons were so fresh and delicious! My favorite entrees were the bean curd and sweet and sour chicken. The shrimp with green onion was also very good.

I love Chinese food and this is one of my favorite restaurants. We used to live out of the area and now that we live less than a mile a way I try to not abuse the fact that I can get take out anytime that I want. Usually when I get take out I get it during lunch on a weekday. Prices are much better at lunch time and you get an egg roll and fried rice with your entree. If you get take out at dinner you need to order your egg roll separately and I'm pretty sure you get white rice instead of the fried rice that you get with the lunch combo. The last time I visited I got the Moo Goo Gai Pan and it was awesome. Portions are huge and I had left overs to take home with me. Lunch combos come with an egg roll, crab rangoon, and soup. You do not get soup when you get take out. It was all awesome and the service was great too.

Was in the mood for Chinese and found this gem. Called in for take out and spoke with a gentleman who was very friendly. I ordered the combination fried rice and added pork, I also added crab rangoon to my order. My order was ready when I arrived approximately 15 minutes later. The lady behind the counter was very polite and complimented my muscles "which caught me off guard" but I appreciated it none the less. My food was hot and fresh when I got it back to my hotel room and I can honestly say that it was some of the best Chinese take out I've had in quite some time. Tons of meat and veggies , great portion size, and in addition to the fortune cookie you also receive a sugar cookie. I enjoyed this place and will certainly revisit when I'm back in Grand Rapid. I would certainly recommend this place to others.
